CRIC members return... with reinforcements
Expanding on the speaker panel in August (see below), five members of the CNO's Rapid Innovation Cell (CRIC) visited USNA on Wednesday October 23rd. They gave updates on their current projects and lead an important discussion of innovation in the Navy.

CRIC members speak to Class of 2017
Three members of the CNO's Rapid Innovation Cell (CRIC) who work in the DC area came to speak to the new freshmen during their Plebe Summer. The conversation started with an explanation of the CRIC, briefly overviewed the three members' projects, and then moved to a general discussion of innovation in the military.
The speakers included LT Tyson Meadors (NSA), LT Ian Crone (Defense Intelligence Agency), and LT Josh Steinman (10th Fleet Cyber Command).

The Gun Doctor
LCDR BJ Armstrong is an MH-60S pilot and the editor of the book, "21st Century Mahan: Sound Military Conclusions for the Modern Era." He is a research student with the War Studies Department at King's College, London, and a member of the Editorial Board at the US Naval Institute. He will be giving his talk entitled "The Gun Doctor," about Admiral William Sims and innovation within the Navy.
